Screening for Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Biotechnology and Sustainability (JBS) are screened for similarity using plagiarism detection software prior to the peer-review process.

Manuscripts that show a similarity index exceeding 30%, or that contain evidence of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or other unethical research practices, may be rejected or returned to the authors for revision.

The journal upholds strict standards of academic integrity and adheres to internationally recognized best practices in publication ethics to ensure the originality and credibility of all published works.
